My bike, from when I was ten years old....20 inch Schwinn StingRay, Fair Lady edition
Smoking blue...banana seat, muscle handlebars.
After being in my dad's attic for 20 years, he brought it to us.
We had to special order tires from Schwinn, they have a different ratio on sidewall to overall height, but we KNEW this was the perfect bike for our artsy, break-the-mold girl.
(okay, to be honest I was fearful I'd get the whole "But Emily got a brand new bike for HER birthday!"...but I was wishful, and willing to buy a new one if she really didn't like it)
She LOVES it. Woohoo! Cleans up nicely, the bike...not the girl. lol
