National Blog Post, day at home edition

Today, I'm thankful for the day that we have just at home. Our lives are full of running hither and yon, trying to accomplish so much. So much that is not really purposeful, so it's nice to have a day that is just at home. Fridays are usually full of getting ready for the weekend, and potluck supper at the end of the day. We have so much going on this coming weekend, I am doubly blessed to be able to sit and rock Nathan, and let the kids play. The weather is gorgeous, and we were able to grill out on our partial deck (haha..since the tree fall took out the other part!)

I started working on knitting a present for my mom, so hopefully she'll like that. It's a good thing that she never gets on the internet, it'll be a surprise for her ;-)
